Steak & Oyster Countdown
It's almost time for Steak & Oysters!
We are just days from our most incredible members dinner of the year - Steak & Oysters!
The Steak & Oysters dinner is our annual fundraising drive, and is the only major event OSC conducts to raise money for our Club's projects. To make sure the 2019 Steak & Oyster dinner is the best ever, we're asking every member to help out by:
• Donating 1 raffle prize
• Attend the dinner
• Buy raffle tickets
Advanced tickets are required and always sell out quickly. To get yours, contact John Word at (209) 505-5002.
Help us keep membership to the Oakdale Sportsmen's Club the greatest value in the Valley by donating a raffle prize. Every prize matters - large or small. Please contact OSC President Jimmy Grassmidt at jimmyG3@ymail.com
to donate a raffle prize.
Thank-you for being part of our Oakdale Sportsmen's Club, and we'll see you at the dinner!
• Pistol ranges are at the west end of the property and the backstops are facing toward the west edge of the property. The left most bay facing west is Bay 1. The Bays are numbered from left to right.
• Bay 1 – Standard handguns and rimfires only
• Bay 2 – Standard handguns and rimfires. Rifles may be sighted in from the bench at 35 yards.
• Bays 3 and 4 – handguns, rifles and shotguns. Rifles and shotguns can be fired no more than 10 rounds at a time.
• The 100 yard rifle range is located under the Rifle Roof behind the rifle line barrier.
ALL MEMBERS have responsibility to ensure that all activities at OSC are conducted in a safe and responsible manner. All firearms shall be unloaded at all times except when actually on the firing line and preparing to shoot. All firearms must be aimed so that any discharge will result in the round impacting the appropriate backstop. "Unloaded" means: all chambers empty, fixed magazines empty, detachable magazines removed, and actions open.
REMEMBER to read and review our Member’s safety, Rules and Responsibilities prior to each time you shoot at the range. The most current edition and information can be found on the Club’s website Oakdalesportsmensclub.com, under the Rules and Responsibility tab on the home page.
EVERY MEMBER is a safety officer, has the responsibility and duty to immediately address all safety violation observed at the Club.
YOU MAKE SAFETY FIRST!
Rifle Shooters Attention
No Rifles are allowed in Bay 1 or 2. Bay 2 has a sight-in-bench for Rifles that may only be used when a Rifle Range Master has the Rife Section open. This bench is not intended for continuous shooting and no other Rifle shots may be taken in Bay 2. Please help police this restriction.
Range Rules Posted at the Range
If you use the Rifle or Pistol Ranges please check out the new signage posted at the entrance to Bay 1, on the side of the Container next to Bay 2 and in the Rifle Section under the roof and make yourself familiar with the Range Rules. Rule Violations can end your membership!
